Onboard Data Logging
We offer data logging solutions in several of our process automation controllers. The on-board data logger reads various types of electrical signals such as flow, pressure, level, and temperature processes and stores the data in internal memory for later download to a computer. The onboard logger cost is minimal, starting at $159.00 and provides seamless logging operation.

RECORD STAMPING
Logged records are date-time stamped and automatically acquired from up to eight active signal input ports at one time. An internal real-time watchdog process inserts a time stamp into the present record set when power has been lost or is interrupted – assuring records continue sequentially after power is restored.
MEMORY SUPPORT
Logging is supported by a large electrically erasable read-write memory organized as a variable modulus, continuously circular, first-in-first-out configuration which minimizes endurance degradation, and maximizes data persistence. The memory does not require battery back-up. The logger can record to a maximum of 65,520 resident records before the next record overwrites the oldest record.
OPERATING CONTROLS
Operating controls are provided for start, stop, send, and clear log memory. Programmable logging rates are user selectable from 0-999 seconds, minutes, hours, days or months. A local display indicates the number of logged records with a blinking indication provided when record logging is in process or stopped.
RECORD ACCESS
Logged records may be accessed locally or remotely from anywhere in the world. All logging functions can be completely controlled from either the keypad, or by local or remote serial commands. Records can be acquired via serial demand commands, or be automatically sent locally and remotely to host computing systems initiated at exact real-times, supported by an internal programmable date-time clock. Records are sent in comma delimited ASCII with serial send pacing control.
PC SOFTWARE
The record send format below is comma delimited and may be directly imported into most spread-sheet programs, and a capture driver is available to support direct Excel capture.
